Why build custom instead of buying an off-the-shelf CRM or ERP?
Often you should buy. If a standard product fits most of how you work, that is cheaper and better supported than anything we would build. Can it work with the systems we already have?
That is usually the main requirement rather than an afterthought. We integrate through the APIs of the systems you are keeping so data stops being retyped between them, and we map that out during the specification stage.
How do you price a custom build?
We write a specification first and fix a price for phase one against it. We do not quote a whole multi-phase system before anyone knows what is in it — that produces either an inflated number or a fight about scope later.
